CERTIFICATION BODY
Decree of the Council of Ministers of 30th April 2004 concerning admitting products for usage in mines
In a scope of admitting products for usage in mines, the Central Mining Institute has been proven as the body authorized to assessment and evaluation of products in appendix no 3 to the Decree of the Council of Ministers of 30th April 2004 concerning admitting products for usage in mines (Journal of Laws, 2004 No. 99, item 1003).
Products whose usage in mines requires an admission issued, due to the need of safety assurance of using it in dangerous conditions occurring in motion in mines, are defined in appendix no 1 to the aforementioned regulation.
In frameworks of obtained authorization by the Central Mining Institute, the Certification Body:
Product Certification Team Katowice conducts the product conformity assessment according to the certification procedures and in the case of positive result; it issues conformity assessment certificates or certificates authorizing to sign the product with safety mark.
The research range related with product conformity assessment is conducted by accredited CMI Laboratories.
