PRODUCT CERTIFICATION IN KATOWICE

In the scope of voluntary product certification customer (Manufacturer, Importer) apply for product certification process which is not obligatory by means of law. Usage of third party evaluation – applying for voluntary product certification and positive result in the form of certificate raise the technical prestige of the product. Moreover it increases user’s trust in scope of declared quality features. Repeatedly the consumers wish and it is a requirement to the supplier to possess product certificate, because it is the way of decreasing the risk connected with buying it. Voluntary certification and evaluation of conformity assessment can be the basis of issuing the declaration of conformity EC for the products being subject to “CE” marking ( except the situation when the Notified Body participation is obligatory).

In the Certification Body of the Central Mining Institute certification of products is conducted by Product Certification Team Katowice. In case of positive evaluation we issue conformity assessment certificate or certificates allowing marking the product with safety mark.

The research area connected with the voluntary certification process of the products is conducted by accredited CMI Laboratories..
