CERTIFICATION BODY
CERTIFICATION OF MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Certification Body in the Central Mining Institute in Katowice (CMI-CB) possesses the accreditation of Polish Centre for Accreditation (accreditation certificate PCA No. AC 083) in a range of certification of quality management systems (in accordance with PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 norm requirements) and environmental management (in accordance with PN-EN ISO 14001: 2005 norm requirements) of production and service in a following branches:

- Production of coal coking products, oil refining

and in a scope of Occupational Health and Safety Management systems certification (according to PN-N-18001:2004 norm requirements) in branches:

Certification of managements systems in production and service includes following elements:
- Customer contact with the Central Miting Institude- Certification Body (CMI-CB), delivery of necessary items of information and forms
- Submission of application and system documentation by customer (completeness assessment of documentation and registration of application)
- Preliminary visitation of CMI-CB auditors in the company (non-obligatory part, agreed with customer)
- Evaluation of documentation on its merits
- Preliminary audit
- Certificating audit
- Issue of CMI-CB certificate for 3 years
- Supervision over certificate holder’s management system (supervision audit)
